    Was so glad to get your letter yesterday. But I didn’t get a chance to answer it until to-nite. I also got on from Onn. & I’ll try & get hers answered too.

    I’m sorry you haven’t heard from me for so long. It isn’t because I haven’t written. It must be as you said. It went down on that ship with those refugee children. I think that I’m getting all your mail tho’

    Was I ever glad to get your letter the other day. I got a bunch of them all at once. And yours was a little more welcome than either Franc’s or Peggy’s I think. Of course I guess I hear from them ofterner is why. But I’m glad to hear from them too as I can sure read a lot of letters over here.

    Dear Frances:-

    Received your letter to-day. And was sure glad to know that you got the letter I wrote on the train

    You asked me when we left camp. It was on Sun. note. A week ago to-nite. It sure don’t seem that long thou. Our trip was really swell on the train & the scenery was beautiful. We were on the train 2 days & nites & have been here the rest of the time. I hope we soon leave thou.

    Dear Frances:

    Just a few lines to let you know we arrived O.K. at five O’clock of course as soon as we got here we had to set our watches ahead an hour.

    We have been sort of busy this aft. But didn’t do much but sleep this morn. I wrote to Onnellee this morning right after breakfast but haven’t had any way of sending it out yet.
