    Dear Franc:-

    I havenโ€™t heard from you for some time. Nor I havenโ€™t written either. But hereโ€™s a small letter now. This is my eighth for this aft. & evening. & Iโ€™m all caught up on answering again. (Until I get some more letters)

    I spent the Weed-end with Pearlsโ€™ cousin in London Her name is Eva Robson  26 yrs. old & works for a lawyer. And boy is she a good cook. I had a chicken dinner.

    Dear Frances:-

    We received some mail last nite. I got your letter that you wrote last Sun. Boy! Was I ever glad to get it. Itโ€™s the first mail weโ€™ve received since we left camp.

    You can send my mail to โ€œBase P.O.โ€ instead of Camp Borden from now on. Until I tell you different. I got two letters from Peggy. & on from Garnet & his folds. Peggyโ€™s was written Sat. nite before I made the phone call. & the other Sun. nite. I havenโ€™t got any thatโ€™s been written since Mon. yet.

    I guess you know I have left Camp Borden. last week-end. I got a letter from Frances yesterday & she said she was talking to you on the phone that morning. (last sun.). I guess she was sort of upset when I phoned her from Camp & told her I was leaving.
